  • Brad Hanson

    Brad Hanson

    President and CEO of Meta Financial Group and MetaBank

    Brad Hanson has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank since 2005. With more than 25 years of experience in banking, payment cards, and financial technology, Brad has been widely recognized for the significant role he played in the development of the prepaid card industry. Brad joined Meta Financial in May 2004 where he founded Meta Payment Systems. After serving as the President of MetaBank and Meta Payment Systems, Brad was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2018. Before joining Meta Financial, he served as a Senior Vice President at BankFirst where he gained experience in retail banking, mortgage lending, and credit cards in addition to managing the technology and project management functions for the bank. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of South Dakota and has served on various non-profit boards including his current role as a member of the Global Board of Operation HOPE.

      Michael "Mick" Goik

      Michael “Mick” Goik is the Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Finance of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Prior to the Crestmark acquisition, Goik had served as Crestmark Bank’s President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2012. Prior to that, beginning in January 2003, he fulfilled various roles at Crestmark (including underwriter, credit officer, manager of the new business group and new product development manager) before being promoted to Director of Finance and Accounting for Crestmark in 2008. Before joining Crestmark, Goik worked for GE Capital and various other companies involved in the commercial finance products and services industry. He graduated with honors from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.

        Glen Herrick

        Glen W. Herrick is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Meta Financial Group and MetaBank. Prior to joining Meta in 2013, Glen spent 20 years at Wells Fargo serving in various finance, treasury and risk management roles, including as CFO of Wells Fargo’s student loan division. Glen holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. and a MBA from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D. He also graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Glen is a member of the MFG Executive Committee.

        • Charles Ingram

          Charles Ingram is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Prior to joining Meta in March 2020, Charles served as Chief Product Officer at Nextiva from 2017 to 2019. Charles was Vice President of Information Technology at PetSmart from 2014 to 2017 and led Technology Innovation and Enterprise Architecture at Yum Brands from 2010 to 2014. Previously, he was employed at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2010 and Wachovia Bank from 1991 to 2001 serving in various global technology leadership roles across numerous divisions. Charles holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Furman University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

            Brett Pharr is the Executive Vice President and Group Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Before joining Meta in February 2019, Brett served as Senior Risk Director at Citizens Bank where he built a best practice enterprise risk organization and culture that enhanced competitive advantage, solidified brand identity, and increased shareholder confidence. Prior to Citizens Bank, Brett worked for 32 years at Bank of America holding roles in Commercial, Consumer, M&A as well as Risk. He is a recognized specialist in optimized risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, T.N. and an MBA from Bristol University in Bristol, T.N.
            • Shelly Schneekloth

              Shelly Schneekloth

              Shelly Schneekloth is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Before joining the Company on November 13, 2017, she was a business line executive at FIS from May 2012 until October 2017, where from May 2012 until January 2015, she was the Vice President of Operations of FIS’ Prepaid Processing Division, and from January 2015 to October 2017 she was the General Manager of the Prepaid Processing Division. She received a BBA in International Business and Finance from James Madison University and an MBA from Virginia Tech.

                Anthony Sharett is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Before joining the Company, he held legal and business unit leadership positions at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, including as the legal leader and Interim President for Nationwide Bank.  Previously, Anthony was a partner at BakerHostetler where he was the national co-leader of the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group.  He holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Ball State University in Political Science.  Anthony is a member of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America.©

                  EVP and Head of Payments of Meta Financial Group and MetaBank

                  Sheree Thornsberry is the Executive Vice President and Head of Payments of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Before joining the Company on September 25, 2017, she held leadership positions at InteliSpend and later Blackhawk Network. At Blackhawk Network, Ms. Thornsberry was General Manager of Hawk Incentives, where she was responsible for leading 600 employees. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from St. Louis University and received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College in Psychology. She is also a graduate of the School for International Training in Kenya, Africa. Sheree has received several industry accolades where she has been recognized for her work within the payments industry: named one of Incentive Magazine’s ‘25 Most Influential People in the Incentive Industry’ in 2016; participated in Incentive Magazine’s 2016 Annual Incentive Roundtable; and received the 2014 Paybefore ‘Top Motivator’ Product Innovation Award.

                    Kathi Winter is the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of Meta Financial Group, Inc. and MetaBank. Prior to joining Meta in January 2020, Kathi served as Chief Human Resources Officer at UnitedWeb / Nextiva from 2017 to 2019. Kathi was the Vice President of Human Resources for imortgage & loanDepot from 2010 to 2017. She was employed at CIT Group from 2005 to 2007 and Honeywell from 1994 to 2005, in a variety of human resource and organization development leadership roles, spanning locations across the globe and across multiple industries and lines of business. Kathi graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and education and a M.Ed in instructional design and technology.
